Install child resistant covers on all the electrical outlets which are in reach of your baby.

Shorten the electric cords.
Place your potted plants out of reach, they could be toxic and can cause lot of damage.

Make sure stoves, furnaces, space heaters, fireplaces and gas appliances in your house are vented properly.
Safety-proof stairs.

Keep knives, cleaning supplies and plastic bags out of reach.
If stove knobs are easily accessible for children, use protective covers on them.

There are many things which can be done to avoid any mishap or accident, just be attentive and alert. Child proofing your baby’s environment can go a long way in preventing accidents in your home.
